This makes sure drivers who participate in more races are more likely to score higher on the chart — the elo calculation uses a k-factor of 1 for the losing participant, and for the winning a k-factor of [driver-number-of-races-with-laps-until-current-session] + ([driver-number-of-first-place-finishes-until-current-session] * 2). Thus first place finishes are awarded the highest k-factor.
